PridePay Halloween Giveaway Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the PridePay Halloween Giveaway (the "Giveaway"). By entering the Giveaway, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Promoter

The Giveaway is promoted by Cardaq Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 07805564 and registered office at One Bartholomew Close, London EC1A 7BL, United Kingdom, trading as "PridePay" (the "Promoter", "we", "us" or "our").

The Giveaway is a brand promotion only. It is not an offer of, or an inducement to take up, any PridePay or Cardaq payment, e-money or other financial product or service. Entry into, and winning of, the Giveaway does not require a Cardaq or PridePay account and does not affect the pricing of, or your eligibility for, any product or service.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:

  • are aged 18 years or over; and
  • are legal residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).

The following persons are not eligible to enter: employees, officers, agents and contractors of the Promoter and of any company in its group; the operators and staff of The Steel Yard, 13-16 Allhallows Lane, London EC4R 3UE (the "Venue"); G.IRL Events; and in each case their immediate families and any other person professionally connected with the Giveaway.

The Promoter may require proof of age, identity and residence before awarding any prize. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or withdraw a prize awarded, where an entrant does not meet, or cannot verify that they meet, the eligibility criteria in these Terms.

Only one entry is permitted per person. Entries made by automated means, by third parties, or in bulk, and entries that are incomplete, illegible or otherwise do not comply with these Terms, are void.

Promotion period

The Giveaway opens at 00:01 on 31 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 2 November 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.

How to enter

There are two ways to enter the Giveaway during the Promotion Period, and both routes have an equal chance of winning. No purchase and no attendance at the event is necessary to enter or to win.

Social media entry route. To enter via Instagram, you must:

  • take a photograph at the PridePay branded stand at the Venue, or with a PridePay drink;
  • follow @pridepay.official on Instagram;
  • post the photograph to your Instagram Stories and tag @pridepay.official; and
  • ensure that your Instagram account is set to public for the duration of the Promotion Period so that the Promoter can view your entry.

Free entry route. To enter free of charge, without attending the event, following any account or making any purchase, send an email to info@pridepay.com during the Promotion Period stating your full name, date of birth, place of residence and a contact email address, with the subject line "PridePay Halloween Giveaway". The free entry route carries the same chance of winning as the social media entry route.

You must own, or have the permission of the owner of, any content you submit, and you must have the consent of any identifiable individual appearing in your photograph. You must not tag any person or content inaccurately. Your entry must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory or otherwise in breach of any third party's rights.

By entering, you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display your entry and your Instagram handle for the purposes of administering and promoting the Giveaway.

Prizes

There are three prizes available to be won:

  • first prize: one Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max in Burgandy with 256GB storage valued at £1,299.00;
  • second prize: one Apple iPad Air in 11 inches in Starlight with 128GB storage valued £749; and
  • third prize: one £100 (one hundred pounds) gift card for G.IRL Events, subject to the issuer's terms and conditions.

There is one of each prize available. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable. There is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right, where a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its reasonable control, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Apple, iPhone and iPad are trade marks of Apple Inc. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not otherwise associated with, this promotion.

The G.IRL Events gift card is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of its issuer. G.IRL Events is not a sponsor of, and is not otherwise associated with, this promotion save as the supplier of the third prize.

Selection of winners

Three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received across both entry routes by a computer process that produces a verifiably random result, or under the supervision of an independent person. The first entry drawn wins the first prize, the second entry drawn wins the second prize, and the third entry drawn wins the third prize.

The draw will take place on or before 3 November 2026.

Notification and announcement of winners

Each winner will be contacted on or around 3 November 2026 by direct message to the Instagram account used to enter, or by email for free entry route entrants. The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact each winner.

A winner must respond and provide the details reasonably required to verify eligibility and to deliver the prize within 5 days of first being notified. If a winner does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and to draw a replacement winner from the remaining valid entries.

The Promoter will announce on 3 November 2026 that a valid award has taken place, by a post or Story on @pridepay.official and/or on its website.

The Promoter will make available the surname and county of each winner, and the winning entry, to anyone who requests this information within a reasonable period after the Giveaway, and will provide it to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. If you are a winner and you object to this information being published, or wish the amount of information published to be reduced, please contact the Promoter at info@pridepay.com ; the Promoter will still need to provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. Receipt of a prize is not conditional on agreeing to any publicity.

Delivery of prizes

Prizes will be delivered to a valid Great Britain delivery address provided by the winner within 30 days of verification of the winner's eligibility, unless otherwise agreed.

Data protection

The Promoter is the controller of personal data processed in connection with the Giveaway. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the privacy notice set out in Schedule 1 (Privacy Notice) and with applicable data protection law.

General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms, or to suspend, cancel or withdraw the Giveaway, where it is necessary to do so for reasons beyond its reasonable control, and will not be liable for doing so.

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whom it reasonably believes has breached these Terms or has acted fraudulently or dishonestly.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to that, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance or use of any prize, except where such loss or damage is caused by the Promoter's negligence or breach of these Terms.

The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted or not received for reasons beyond its reasonable control, including any failure of Instagram or any network.

A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of these Terms.

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Schedule 1 (Privacy Notice)

Controller

Cardaq Limited (company number 07805564), One Bartholomew Close, London EC1A 7BL, trading as PridePay, is the controller of your personal data for the Giveaway. You can contact us about data protection at dpo@pridepay.com .

Data we collect and why

We collect and process: your name, date of birth, place of residence and contact details; your Instagram handle, photograph and entry content; and, for winners, delivery and verification details. We use this data to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, select and contact winners, deliver prizes, and announce and respond to enquiries about the winners.

Lawful basis

Our lawful basis for processing this data is our legitimate interests in running and promoting the Giveaway (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) and, where applicable, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations (Article 6(1)(c) UK GDPR).

Recipients and retention

We may share your data with service providers who help us administer the Giveaway and deliver prizes, and with regulators where required. We retain administration data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Marketing

We will not send you marketing communications simply because you have entered the Giveaway. We will only do so where you have given separate consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting your entry.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability, in accordance with the UK GDPR. Schedule 2 (Short-form Significant Conditions for Poster, Instagram and Website)

Short-form wording

The following short-form conditions should accompany all promotional material, with a prominent link to these full Terms at pridepay.com/giveaway:

  • open to Great Britain residents aged 18+; the Promoter's employees, group companies, the Venue, G.IRL Events and their families are excluded;
  • the Giveaway opens on 31 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 2 November 2026; three winners drawn at random on or before 3 November 2026;
  • no purchase and no attendance necessary: a free entry route is available, with an equal chance of winning (see full Terms);
  • prizes: one iPhone 18 Pro Max, one iPad mini and one £100 G.IRL Events gift card; no cash alternative; non-transferable;
  • winners will be notified via Instagram direct message or email and must respond within 5 days or a replacement winner may be drawn;
  • this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram; Apple is not a sponsor of, or associated with, this promotion; and
